Being a parent or carer is tough!  There is no manual to guide us or magic formula to make things 'right'.  Children and Young People are growing up in very difficult and different times, as parent/carer it is our job to guide them even when we feel we are not fully licensed to do so!

In my practice I aim to offer a non-judgemental, safe, empathic environment where we can talk and think about what maybe going on for your young person and think of ways in which you can support them.  This service is offered as a one off, ad-hoc or weekly sessions similar to counselling.

There are many factors that affect how your children behave, often this can stem from how we, their parent(s)/carer(s) have been brought up.  Having the opportunity to explore some of these concepts can enlighten parents and carers and enable them to move forward and parent how they want to.

Some issues parents and carers have shared with me in the past are:

Aggression, Anger, Anxiety, Bullying, Eating disorders, Low self-esteem, Low self-confidence, Self-harm, School refusal, Sleeping  difficulties, Suicidal thoughts.

This list is not exhaustive.  Whatever you are facing I am here to listen and support.  Should you require a specialist service I will do my utmost to get you in contact with the people you need.
